Arvest Ballpark

If you're looking for a great place to enjoy some fresh air and the game of baseball in Springdale, AR - then Arvest Ballpark in Springdale is the perfect spot. This beautiful ballpark has been around since 1981 and was renovated in 2009. The field is known for its aged appearance while still providing an enjoyable experience for fans of all ages!

History of the Arvest Ballpark

The Arvest Ballpark was originally built in 1981 and has been a staple of Springdale ever since. The ballpark is the home to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals who are one of six minor league teams owned by MLB's Kansas City Royals. During its first year, the park hosted only college games but now it hosts over 70 events per season.

In 2009, the city of Springdale conducted an extensive renovation to ensure that it met all safety and structural standards. The new features included a 360-degree concourse and more than 2000 seats with additional standing-room-only spaces on both levels for over 1000 fans! As well as these upgrades, Arvest Ballpark now has luxury suites complete with concessions and restrooms.

The ballpark is also home to the Arkansas Travelers, a AA team that is affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Travelers moved to Arvest Ballpark in 2010 and have since become one of the most popular teams in all of minor league baseball!

What to do in the ballpark?

Tips to know before you go!

Though it is a great place to enjoy an afternoon or evening with family, there are some things that you should be aware of when visiting the Arvest Ballpark. First off, if you have little ones who are just learning to walk, then you may want to stay away from the dugouts. They are open-sided and can be a little dangerous if your kids aren't quite steady on their feet yet! Also, make sure that you dress for the weather because Arvest Ballpark has no covered seating.

What will make this experience one of a kind is if you bring along your pup! Bark in the Park is an event that you'll want to attend with your furry friend. However, be aware of all posted signs and make sure to keep them on a leash at all times.

Finally, if you're looking to take a break from the action and grab a bite to eat, Arvest Ballpark has you covered. There are numerous concessions stands throughout the ballpark that offers everything from pizza to funnel cake. You can also head upstairs to The Dugout Club for something a little more luxurious. This private club provides seating for over 300 guests and has some of the best views in all of baseball.
